Dorado Downs Private 4WD Dune Park
Dorado Downs 4WD Dune Park is roughly a 1500 acres property of pure malley scrub dunes.
It basically looks like this from the air.
The campsite is 2 hours drive from Mt Pleasant meeting point.
At the campsite, which is on the left hand side of Carcuma Road, heading south,
There is a communal shelter with an attached flushing toilet but not sure about a shower at this campsite.
We have about 1500 acres of sprawling mallee scrub dune tracks to play on.
You will need to be self suffient with your fuel, water and food for the weekend. We are able to have a camp fire and the owner will provide a small amount to start with. If we need more we are able to collect from the property.
For more information, please contact the trip coordinator via email trip@dirtydeeds4x4clubsa.com.
Bri-Glen Springs/Terowie
Bri-Glen Springs has been around for many years, Gawler and Districts 4WD Club has been going there since before 2010. It is a very similar place to Terrowie but it has more history and old sites to see. Terrowie is literally only 22Kms around the corner. Bri-Glen is a property just south of Terowie, around 5000 acres in total size.
The owner, Brian Sambell, has offered us the use of a 355 acre fenced area.
The enclosure joins a large creek (Wonna) and a nature reserve, which is leased by the property owners. We would also have access to drive the many other 4WD tracks on the Bri-Glen property.
This is an awesome opportunity to gain access to another large piece of land for the use of four wheel driving.
Self-sufficient camping so bring your own food and water as well as your own chemical toilet. All persons staying on the property must be self sufficient with their own port-a-potty.
BYO food & beverages of choice.
